We are seeking a highly motivated Principal or Senior Research Scientist with interests in behavioral approaches to system safety to join the Center for Behavioral Sciences. The mission of the Center is to investigate behavioral, cognitive, and organizational factors surrounding workplace injuries and highway collisions. The Liberty Mutual Research Institute for Safety is committed to high quality science including the dissemination of its research results in the open, peer-reviewed scientific press.
Becas Posdoctoral por el Gobierno de Canada
The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship program is a new program announced by the Government of Canada to foster “top-tier postdoctoral talent, both nationally and internationally, to develop their leadership potential and to position them for success as research leaders of tomorrow”. The fellowships are expected to be highly competitive and require joint application from the individual and host institution (see attached program description). Applicants must have completed all doctoral level requirements between Nov 3, 2007 and Dec 31, 2010. The two year awards ($70,000 CAD per anum) are to be taken up between April and October 2011. Please note that the awards are open to non-Canadian citizens and that applicants will be selected on the basis of:

La implantación de la Gestión de la Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, Calidad y Medio Ambiente en el ámbito universitario español con carácter de postgrado, es una demanda que desde los sectores públicos y privados se ha venido incrementando en los últimos años. Este Master puede resultar oportuno en la nueva estructura universitaria donde, la distribución en dos niveles (grado y postgrado) de las titulaciones universitarias, viene a paliar unas carencias de formación en este campo, que se verán favorecidas por su integración en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior.
