Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Applied Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY with research and teaching interest in HEALTH, DEVELOPMENTAL, COGNITIVE, or EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY, at the assistant professor level. The primary teaching responsibility for this position may include the following: adolescence, aging, health psychology, statistics, learning, sensation and perception, and/or a senior capstone course. Ideal candidates will have strong teaching and research skills, maintain an active research program, possess a desire for working with undergraduate and master’s level graduate students, and have the ability to contribute positively to a mentor-based master’s program in research psychology. Preference will be given to candidates who possess an earned Ph.D. by the time of appointment, although ABD candidates will be considered.
